Following up on yesterday’s post, here is a card I made with the “offcuts” of the Many Layered Blossoms die.
To recap, I first sponged a piece of Whisper White cardstock with 4 colours of ink:
Then I cut out the thicker of the Many Layered Blossoms dies.
What I didn’t show you yesterday was that I used a piece of Glad Press ‘n Seal plastic wrap to hold on to the innards of the flowers:
I put Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the die cut pieces. For some I had to use itty bitty pieces…the whole ones you see are the Minis!
After adhering the thin Many Layered Blossoms die cut in Seaside Spray to a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock I was able to flip the Press ‘n Seal into place with all the bits (mostly) in the right spot. A few adjustments, a few Basic Rhinestones coloured with the Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Marker and a Seaside Spray card base and a two-for-one card was born.
I might just like it better than the first one…what do you think?
