I CASE’d the Sale-A-Bration brochure (p. 7) again today! I swapped out a couple of products for items I already own…can you spot them?
I don’t have the same Designer Series Paper that the concept artist used, but I do have some of the Bumblebee In Colors DSP, so I swapped the Pumpkin Pie and yellow (SU! used Daffodil Delight) colour scheme. I also used the palm trees from Timeless Tropical, whereas SU! used Paradise Palms.
To colour the Kombi vans I used ink pads and a Blender Pen. I noted that SU! had used Water Painters and Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, but I didn’t bother. For my background I did do a very quick wash with a Water Painter, but just used Basic White. My colouring isn’t as “refined,” shall we say.
Regardless, I think this is a fun, breezy card to send to someone, practically guaranteed to put a smile on their face.
