It’s time for the September Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop! We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting.
This month’s challenge was set by Maheswari Rajaguru:
We were directed to choose any elements from this picture for our inspiration…the colours, images, etc. Here’s what it inspired me to make:
I chose the yellow colour and the food image, naturally! I fussy-cut the pastries in the centre from scraps of the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper used in the main panel.
I’ve been wanting to try this Faux Aperture Card technique since it’s been popping up everywhere recently. It is really simple! I look forward to making more with different shapes in the centre.
I also cut out an extra ice cream cone and added it to the inside panel.
I hope you’ll take a few minutes and check out the rest of the blog hop!
All of the supplies are available to purchase in my Online Store.
