Happy spring, everyone!
Here’s a quick-and-easy card I made the other week. Here in Arizona it’s pretty common to see hot air balloons as the sun is rising or setting. Riding in one is on my bucket list…don’t know if it will ever get checked off, so in the meantime, I’m enjoying this stamp set:
To make the background I used the new Watercolor Pencils and simply scribbled bands of color across the piece of Shimmery White card stock. Then I took a slightly wet AquaPainter and blended the color, keeping my motions side-to-side.
The balloons from Lift Me Up were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Daffodil Delight and Watermelon Wonder card stock and cut out with the Up and Away coordinating Framelits. The clouds were also cut with this set, and lightly sponged with Basic Gray ink. The sentiment was stamped in Memento as well.
I framed the imaged panel on a mat of Basic Black, and then a layer of Basic Gray before mounting on a card base of Thick Whisper White.
