The Lovely In Linen Suite is one that I flipped past in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue (pp. 24-25) and decided I wasn’t interested. But after several more weeks of flipping through I decided that I like just about everything about the suite except the samples in the pictures, LOL!
I think in this photo you can see the subtle printing on the background of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that makes it look like woven fabric.
I encourage you to watch the video, even if you fast-forward through the fussy-cutting segments, because I love to see the evolution from a single-colour image to a two-colour image and then with added dimension.
You’ll also get to see it with and without the Sweet Sorbet mat behind the image, and the difference it makes. And finally the addition of embellishments, and the multiple options and choices involved.
Check out this card’s image panel – it’s on our super-cool Linen 12 x 12 Specialty Paper, which is actually adhesive-backed fabric.
I wound up stamping it 3 times on the Stamparatus™ to get a reasonably dark image.
And I really surprised myself when my idea to cut the Denim Ribbon* in half lengthwise to tie a double-bow worked out so well!
