Meadow Window Blended Alcohol Inks Card

In my previous post I showed you a card I made with a Blended Alcohol Inks technique. I actually made a few different backgrounds, and here’s what I did with another one:

This time after adding Stampin’ Blends Markers (which are alcohol ink) to my clear block and spritzing with isopropyl alcohol I smooshed it onto a piece of Vellum Cardstock.

Since the Vellum is less porous than regular cardstock the colours have more of a chance to swirl and blend before drying.

Once dry I overlaid it with the window panel that I also embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D folder, and added some die cut images.

I decided to add my sentiment to the inside:

It’s very fun to make these background pieces and then decide how to use them…I encourage you to give it a go! I’ll be back with a third example in tomorrow’s post.

Here’s what I used to make this card…it can all be purchased in my Online Store.
