Mediterranean Moments 1

Over the holiday period I spent some time just sitting and colouring.  I find it very relaxing, and love that I can turn my coloured images into cards, which I probably wouldn’t do if I was using adult colouring books, right?

This card was inspired by a similar layout on a card I received through a Random Act of Kindness Facebook group.  This group of card crafters signs up to send each other cards in a particular (or every) month.  It’s fun to see what shows up in the mailbox!  The card I received used an image from the Peaceful Place set, but I don’t own it (yet!).  So I substituted this street scene from Mediterranean Moments.

I used the Watercolour Pencils and a Blender Pen to colour, then cut it out with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits and matted it on Old Olive.  A layer of Whisper White was stamped multiple times with the large rectangle from Swirly Frames in Old Olive and Smoky Slate, before everything was mounted on a Thick Whisper White card base.
