Melbourne Demo Day Out

Last Saturday I hosted a few of my fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators for a craft day.  We  each of prepared a project and  taught it to the others.  We also had a potluck/passed plate lunch.  It was nice to have a turn to make projects that someone else prepared, and to chat with peers.
This Twist & Turn Fold card was brought by Sharon Cornish.  I’d never seen one before, let alone made one, so I was super-thrilled.  Want to learn to make one?  I’ll be including it in my Fun Folds 2 class on 3 August (see below for details).

Jenny White brought this beautiful multi-panel card.  This is another layout I’d not made before…so fun! This may also wind up as part of the Fun Folds 2 class…we’ll see!
Ruth Sollberger brought this beauty.  I’m really loving Seaside Spray, one of our new In Colors for 2019-2021.  I don’t have this stamp set, Pop of Petals, nor the In Color DSP stack, so more fun crafting with new-to-me products!
And here’s my contribution to the day…a Fanfold Panel Card.  This one will definitely be part of my Fun Folds 2 class…be sure to scroll down and reserve your place!
Jenny and Ruth also brought some cute, handmade gifts!  
Pretty box, and the berry-scented candles are a lovely addition to my craft room!
Ruth made this blackberry jam with berries her husband picked last summer…I’m looking forward to opening this soon!

Fun Folds 2

Someone said, “A card is a hug with a fold in the middle.”  What a lovely idea…but we can go beyond that!  Come make a variety of cards that go beyond a simple crease…different to the ones made in June’s class!  You will also receive a printout with directions for each type of fold. Suitable for novice and experienced crafters.  All supplies and afternoon tea included. $30.

Learn how to use these amazing watercolour pigment crystals on your projects.  We’ll be doing a variety of techniques, some of which will wind up on finished cards, others will be yours to take home to continue working with.  Note: I will supply gloves, but please wear clothes that can get accidentally stained without distress. All supplies and afternoon tea included. $30.

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack
Saturday, 2 November RSVP deadline Tuesday, 29 October
Attendees will literally stamp a stack of cards!  5 each of 5 designs for a total of 25 cards, all ready to send out for the holidays!  Note: this session may run long (or short) depending on how quickly each individual completes her cards.  Suitable for novice and experienced crafters, though most will feel more comfortable having attended one of my previous sessions.  All supplies and afternoon tea included. $50.
