Earlier this week I showed you my
first card made with the Mosaic Mood DSP…today I’m sharing the first 2 cards I’ve done with
Memorable Mosaic, the stamp set from this suite.
For this card I started with a layer of Very Vanilla and stamped the tree leaves in Mint Macaron. Then I added the trunk in Early Espresso. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla, inking in Blushing Bride and tapping the edges of the stamp with my Calypso Coral ink pad. It’s punched out with the coordinating Timeless Label Punch. The ribbon is also part of the suite, and is called ¼” Textile Ribbon in Mint Macaron. It’s matted on Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral.
When I first made it I felt that the trunk was too dark, and I wasn’t sure about the label colours…but it’s all growing on me. What do you think?
This one started with a square of Whisper White, and I stamped the leaves with Garden Green 3 times without re-inking, and moving slightly to the right and up each time. I did the same technique with the trunk, using Crumb Cake ink. I matted that layer on Garden Green, and popped it up on a layer of Crumb Cake I ran through the Mosaic 3 D embossing folder and adhered on a Garden Green card base. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green and punched out as above before adhering with Dimensionals.
Well, do you have a preference? Leave me a comment and let me know!
