I’ve set a goal for myself of having a new holiday-themed project to share with you every Monday until just before New Year’s, for a total of 20 projects. Here’s this week’s:
This card’s simple elements make it a great card to mass-produce, and in fact it was a contender for this year’s Christmas Stamp-A-Stack. In the end it got bumped by another card, but I’m sure I’ll be making a bunch of these to send out.
The Cherry Cobbler base is layered with a strip of Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper (DSP), then a Garden Green circle and Cherry Cobbler scalloped circle cut with the Layering Circles Framelits. The sentiment from Peace this Christmas (in the Annual Catalog) is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on another circle of Whisper White, and embellished with the pine bough and berries from the same set. That’s it!
I made a bunch of Halloween-themed treats this year, but only one card…which I sent to my parents:
I CASE’d it from Wendy Klein, keeping most of it the same. It is a double-Z fold card that features lots of elements from the Spooky Fun and Halloween Scenes Framelits bundle, as well as a bit of Halloween Night Specialty DSP.
Hope you have some spooky fun tonight!
