Mini Desk Calendars

As I was getting my act together to head to the U.S. for my brief visit, I saw that fellow Aussie SU! demonstrator Jessie Holton had uploaded a video showing how to make these cute and fast mini desk calendars.  I had been trying to figure out both what to take with me for little hostess gifts, and what to do with my remaining stash of mini calendars.  Score!

For most of mine I used the beautiful Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper on a Pretty Peacock base.  I changed up the ribbons just for fun.

I had one more calendar, so I also did one with some of the Birthday Bonanza DSP on Bermuda Bay cardstock.  With so much white on the DSP I decided to add a Terracotta Tile mat under the calendar.

I also discovered that the plastic bags that Stampin’ Dimensionals come in are the perfect size to package them in if you’re not slipping them into a regular card envelope to mail.
