Mischievous Mice Pool Party Birthday Card

We made this cute birthday card during my April Monthly Medley card class.

It was CASE’d from Angie Juda…CASE-ing stands for, “Copy And Selectively Edit,” or, “Copy And Share Everything,” and is an accepted practice in paper crafting.

Another cute image from the Mischievous Mice host stamp set. This time we used the Paper Piecing Technique, where we stamped the image on the Basic White layer, then again on a scrap of Pool Party. After adding the sentiment, we cut out the balloon with our paper snips, staying just on or inside the outline. Then we glued it over the balloon on the Basic White layer. Stampin’ Blends made quick and easy work of colouring the mouse and the balloon’s tail.

I believe Angie made her card with a different border-edge die…this one is part of the Tropical Layers dies. And once again we made use of the now-retired Pattern Party DSP. I’m looking forward to replacing it with the new Design A Daydream host DSP.

Here’s the supply list for this card:
