More Team Meeting Projects

Here’s the next group of great projects my team members brought for us to make at January’s meeting:

Mimi brought this great Gate-Fold valentine.  She’s the newest member of my team, and is building her stash of current SU! products.  She used Baked Brown Sugar (retired) card stock for the base, Whisper White for the embossed (non-SU!) front and inside panels, and Red Glimmer Paper for the die-cut hearts (retired SU! Framelits).  The sentiment, stamped in Riding Hood Red (retired) is from an old SU! set. 

 How fun to see a mashup of products that creates a unique project.  It’s proof that you don’t already need to own a ton of current products to be able to be a demonstrator!  Talk to me if this is one of your concerns.

Nickie brought this super-cute coaster easel desk calendar and sticky-note holder.  It uses Designer series paper from last year’s Sale-A-Bration along with Pool Party and Black card stock and a square of Coaster Board (AC p. 148).  The flowers are from Mixed Bunch (retired), Flower Shop (AC p. 126), and Petite Petals (AC p. 78), and are punched out with the Blossom (retired), Pansy and Petite Petals (AC p. 167) punches. They are layer and embellished with a Basic Black Candy Dot (Neutrals, AC p. 161) and adhered to a Clothespin (AC p. 160).  A length of Basic Black ⅜” Stitched Satin Ribbon (AC p. 159) is held by the clothespin when it’s clipped to the top of the coaster board.  So pretty and functional at the same time!
