August Monthly Card Class – RSVP Deadline is Sunday!
Due to current Covid-19 conditions in Melbourne I can only offer this class as a kit/online version…we have gone to Phase 4 restrictions until mid-September! 
 
I will provide a kit and written instructions to make 5 cards (previewed in the picture).  Participants will be able to add sentiments as desired with their own stamps and inks.  Kits can be picked up from my residence in Melbourne using safe, social distancing protocols, or I can ship via Australia Post tracked satchel.  Come give this a try – perfect if you’ve always wanted to try my classes and can’t attend in person.

Card Kit:  includes all the pieces and printed directions needed to create 5 cards.  You will need to supply your own stamps and ink for sentiments, as well as having basic adhesive (like Multipurpose Liquid Glue) for assembly.

PDF Tutorial: Purchase the written and photo instructions including measurements (in centimetres and inches) and create along with us using your own supplies. You can substitute stamps, papers and colours based on what you have.  International customers welcome!

Stamp With Me, Get It Free – Beautiful Autumn

Today’s card was inspired by many I’ve seen online. 
I made it by painting a wash of Flirty Flamingo ink on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock.  I started by wetting down the cardstock with my flat brush Water Painter.  I put a drop of ink refill on an acrylic block and added a few drops of water from the Water Painter, then swirled the ink onto the brush and started applying it to the cardstock.  I kept the ink fairly heavy at the top, and tapered it off as I went down the page. I did go back over some areas that I thought needed a bit more ink or texture.
I left it to dry completely, then applied the thin Many Layered Blossoms die-cut on top.  I’d cut it out of Whisper White with an Adhesive Sheet applied to the back, so it was easy to adhere.
I cut a Whisper White frame the same size as my finished card front, using a Rectangles Stitched Die for the centre.  Then I cut down the flower panel to just slightly smaller than the frame. I put Foam Adhesive Strips around the edge of the flower panel and carefully lined up the frame on top.  Then I glued the framed panel to a Whisper White Thick card base and added the sentiment from Bloom & Grow.
