In this post I’ll share the projects I made during the event. In the next few posts I’ll show the swaps I received. To see the SU! swag and give-aways you’ll need to watch the video.
I signed up for the bonus OnStage After Hours Crafting session, where we were able to choose one of three new bundles to play with. I chose the Citrus Blooms bundle, which is part of the Mediterranean Blooms Suite in the upcoming catalogue.
All of the projects (regardless of which bundle one chose) featured some of the new 2024-2026 In Colors. The Citrus Blooms projects used a lot of Petunia Pop and Peach Pie.
I had a lot of fun watercolouring with a Water Painter on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper – something I haven’t done in a while.
This one added in the returning Pretty In Pink – the first time a returning colour has been made an In Color! I like how the Blending Brushes worked to make the gradient strip on this one.
This colour combo isn’t instinctive to me but I think it really works! I like the small touch of colour in the flower centres.
This card was made from items in the new “Mix & Match” section of the catalogue, which has
- pre-printed cards & envelopes packs
- ephemera packs of printed images, layers, frames and sentiments
- sentiment stamp set
Each table had some packs of the cards/envelopes/ephemera and a stamp set, and it was up to us to make our own card design. Here’s mine again with a couple made by other attendees:
