One of my favourite parts of OnStage@Home (the SU! online convention for demonstrators) is the stamping demonstrations we get from both SU! staff and other demonstrators. This card was inspired by one shown by Chelsey Christensen from the U.S.A.
I stamped the image onto 2 pieces of Basic White cardstock. One I coloured with Blending Brushes and Pool Party, Blushing Bride and Daffodill Delight inks, then cut out with the largest Layering Circles die.
The second image I coloured just the woman with Stampin’ Blends Markers and fussy-cut her out with my Paper Snips. I adhered this imaged directly on the one with the blended background. This technique is called Paper Piecing, and is often done with Designer Series Paper to add a pattern to part of a stamped image.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends dies. Both stamped pieces were popped up with Dimensionals on a piece of Vellum Cardstock that I embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder, then adhered to a Balmy Blue card base with Tear & Tape behind the stamped panels. A few Matte Black Dots finish it off.
Here’s a supply list for everything except the In The Moment stamp set, which will be available for demonstrators to order on 1 December*, and for customers on 4 January.
