This past weekend I hosted a Kit-Together where everyone assembled the Paper Bouquet Kit.

This is the one I assembled…I’ve done minimal arranging in this vase.

There is definitely a bit of a learning curve to the different parts of the assembly process, but none of it is difficult.
One thing that my team member, Sarah, discovered was that instead of using hot glue to assemble the petals on the stem one layer at a time, using Liquid Glue to make the flower. Then curl the petals with your bone folder and add it to the stem.

Good fun was had by all…though perhaps I didn’t capture everyone at their best, LOL.

Notice that Mari, right, has chosen to keep her flower petals fairly flat, while May and Hannah, left, have curled theirs.

Want to come have fun at my place? Here’s the next opportunity:
In honour of a stamping friend who recently passed away from cancer, along with all the other family and friends we know who have or will be fighting it, I’m hosting an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event on Saturday, 17 May. We’ll be eating fun treats and crafting a few cards, all to raise money for The Cancer Council. I’d love it if you can attend in person. If not, please consider making a donation. Research conducted in Australia benefits patients around the world, so no matter where you’re located you can help.
