After I made the Peaceful Poinsettia card I showed you on Monday, I had a piece of the Peaceful Prints DSP on my craft desk, and was inspired to make this card:
I do love snowflakes, but since moving to Australia I haven’t bought any since not only does it almost never snow in Melbourne (same as when I lived in Arizona) but it isn’t even winter at Christmastime.
But I did have some retired Lace Doilies in my stash, and with a few snips of my scissors was able to transform them into snowflakes.
For the sentiments I first inked it up in Versamark, then layered on Real Red (there’s no issue with some Versamark getting onto the coloured ink pads) and stamped right in the centre of the exposed Basic White. I coated it in Clear Embossing Powder and melted it with my heat tool. Then I cleaned my stamp and stamped it multiple times in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
A few Red Rhinestones on the snowflake centres and a strip of DSP on the inside panel and it’s ready to send season’s greetings.
Here’s a supply list that links to my Online Store. I’d love to be your demonstrator in Australia!
