These both feature backgrounds of Poetic Expressions Desigher Series Paper, which is retiring in a few days.
I show you in the video how I made the coloured cardstock frames on both cards.
For the Boho Blue and teacup card I used the retired Layering Circles Dies in conjunction with the Everyday Details Dies…happily, they are available while supplies last on the refreshed Clearance Rack at the moment!
I have definitely decided that less is NOT more when it comes to shading with the Stampin’ Blends…I like how the shading came out on the Lost Lagoon vase above.
The teacup with the shading lines in the stamp is ok with the less-involved shading I think, but I’m going to try to remember to do more the next time I use it and see how it comes out.
