Fun Folds 2

 RSVP DEADLINE TODAY
Someone said, “A card is a hug with a fold in the middle.”  What a lovely idea…but we can go beyond that!  Come make a variety of cards that go beyond a simple crease…different to the ones made in June’s class!  You will also receive a printout with directions for each type of fold. Suitable for novice and experienced crafters.  All supplies and afternoon tea included. $30.

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack

 RSVP deadline Tuesday, 29 October
Attendees will literally stamp a stack of cards!  5 each of 5 designs for a total of 25 cards, all ready to send out for the holidays!  Note: this session may run long (or short) depending on how quickly each individual completes her cards.  Suitable for novice and experienced crafters, though most will feel more comfortable having attended one of my previous sessions.  All supplies and afternoon tea included. $50.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the new products in the Annual Catalogue that  we forget to give some love to our old favourites.  I decided to remedy this by pulling out my Country Home set  that debuted in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.

This is a CASE of one  of the examples in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue on p. 95.  CASE stands for your choice of, “Copy and Share  Everything” or, “Copy and Selectively Edit”.

I did selectively edit this card. First, I used Stampin’ Blends to colour in the images instead of Watercolor Pencils.  Then, because I don’t have the ⅜” Reversible Ribbon the concept artist used, I embossed a strip of Old Olive card stock with the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder and used it instead.

CASE’ing the catty (or another source) is a great way to get the creative juices flowing.  Let me know if you have questions about the projects pictured in the catalogues – I have a listing of supplies and can usually tell what techniques were used.  I can also help if you like the look of something and want suggestions for substitutions that you have in your stash.

Why do I ask you to do this?  I use the Stampin’ Rewards accrued on the collected smaller orders to provide gifts to those who order from me and/or attend my  classes and events.
