This card was inspired by one made by Bruno Bertucci. I took many of the same elements of his card, but made it my own.
I started with the very contemporary new background stamp, Layered Stripes. I stamped it in Versamark on Kraft cardstock, then heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder.

As I often do with background stamps, I had the stamp mounted on my Stamparatus, and I wish I’d stamped it one or two more times to get more ink coverage all over, though I don’t really mind the blotchiness of it since it’s the background.

After layering on a panel of Rose Gold Foil (which makes the Copper Embossing look like Rose Gold, too!) I added a band of the Natural Finish Ribbon, and a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set, again stamped and Copper embossed on Kraft cardstock.

I finished the front with two Two-Tone Flora flowers that I stamped on Crumb Cake using only the detail stamp, Versamark ink and Copper Embossing Powder. I had tried Sahara Sand first, but didn’t like it as much with the ribbon. They do work quite well on the inside, however.
This Layered Stripes stamp is going to be very versatile…stop back tomorrow and Wednesday to see a few more ways I’ve used it.
Here’s everything I used for this card. You can purchase all of it in my Online Store, and don’t forget that with a $90 minimum purchase you can select great Sale-A-Bration items for FREE!
