Last week on my Facebook Live I showed you how to make a card with a blended background utilising glycerine as a blending medium. Today I’m sharing the card I made with another blended background I made using the same technique.
This time my background is a collection of blended ink splotches. I used Summer Splash, Petunia Pop and Pretty In Pink. You can see the darker colours where they blend together.
Then I cut the largest Spotlight On Nature dies with the radiating edge for my focal image and the larger of the Radiating Stitches circle dies for the sentiment.
I stamped a few images from Spotlight On Nature on the larger circle, and a sentiment from Simply Said on the smaller.
I also stamped an additional butterfly on the remains of the blended ink cardstock and fussy-cut it to add to the inside.
Some embossing, a tab of ribbon and embellishments finish off the card.
Here’s everything I used to make it…they can be purchased in my Online Store. The Spotlight On Nature Bundle and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine are going on sale for an extra 10% off from 5-30 June – hooray!
