In my Facebook Live video this week I showed how to do the Popping Pastels technique using the Soft Pastels Assortment from Stampin’ Up!. I also showed these 2 cards that I made before going live:
Both of these cards feature images from the Art Gallery stamp set.
It’s fun to add the simple, but bold elements to the card with the soft, chalk-coloured images.
I love that the Scalloped Contours Dies work so well with the Stitched Rectangles Dies to make this frame. It’s a nice change for me to have the frame pop up from the image instead of adhering the image to a mat underneath.
On this card I love the bold, modern polka dots in Granny Apple Green and the black elements popping out on the Poppy Parade card base.
