Earlier this week I did a quick 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue First Order unboxing video. During that session I ran the new Hybrid Bloom Embossing Folder on a piece of cardstock to see what it does. Here’s the card I made later with the pieces it cut and embossed at the same time:
I wanted the flowers to stand out from the leaf embossing on the rest of the Petal Pink panel that I glued to a Basic White Thick card base, so I first sponged them lightly with Petal Pink ink and a sponge dauber. Then I went over each flower with my Wink of Stella glimmer pen before adhering them back into their spots with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To add some more contrast I cut the leaf die several times from Basic White cardstock backed with Adhesive sheets, which made them very easy to apply.
Finally, I added Elegant Faceted Gems in white to the flower centres and the sentiment from Peaceful Moments cut with a Tasteful Labels dies.
