Yesterday I showed you some very simple cards I made with a sheet of Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper (DSP). Today I’ve stepped-up the design by adding some die-cut images.
I cut the pots and green plants from other sheets of the same DSP pack.
The Gold Metallic Specialty Paper leaves are cut with a die from the Artistic set.
There is a bit of a plastic coating on the paper that can make it hard to get the die-cut to release, but it also made it easy to keep the texture of the leaf cut-outs to stay in place, which I like.
I think both styles of card have their time and place to make and use…how about you?
