This is the card I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. You can watch it on replay on Facebook or YouTube. I go live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Page every Wednesday at 10:00 AET. You can check to see what time that is where you are at this website.
Many thanks to Kylie Bertucci and Angela Wilson-Meyer for showing the colour effects of bleach on our cardstock. As I said in the video, it’s probably been about 12 years since I’ve done this, and was happy to dedicate an old Aqua Painter to use with liquid bleach.
In the video I stamped this Daisy Garden image on Soft Succulent, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green cardstock, and used the bleach to “colour” the daisy petals.
Each cardstock changed into a different colour – the Highland Heather turned white, the Granny Apple Green changed to Pale Papaya, and Soft Succulent to So Saffron.
I finished the Soft Succulent panel with Stampin’ Blends and also tried out Stampin’ Write Markers at the request of one of my viewers. Both worked well, so colour away! The sentiment is from Biggest Wish and I also had a trick for using the Stamparatus to be able to make multiple, perfectly aligned labels.
Here’s what I used to make this…clicking on any picture will take you to that product’s page in my online store.
