I’m going to let you in on a little secret…as much as I like paper crafting, I am TERRIBLE when it comes to regular gift-wrapping. The paper rips, I can’t get things lined up and square, or neat enough. I’ve tried cheap wrapping paper, expensive wrapping paper, doing Japanese-style (which does tend to work better for me), but I’d much rather throw things in a gift bag, a box or an envelope and call it done!
So, when I needed to package 5 identical, flat gifts this week, I decided to pull out my retired Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board. I used a variety of 12 x 12 papers trimmed to 11 x 11″ for these envelopes, including Brightly Gleaming, Poinsettia Place, Gilded Autumn and long-retired Real Red Envelope Paper.

It was fun to go through the small collection of unused elements on my craft desk and put some to good use decorating the packages.
I like how neat and professional the envelopes look!
Good thing these worked out because Plan B was a plain mailing satchel, LOL!
