This week I’m showing you what I did with the off-cuts from the cards I made a while back on my Facebook Live showing you the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing folder. You can go refresh your memory here.
In my previous crafting session I had run the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder. I did the same with a panel of Misty Moonlight, and adhered the DSP over one side. Then I wrapped the panel with Misty Moonlight In Color ribbon and some of the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack twine, finishing in a double-bow. It’s adhered to a Misty Moonlight card base.
The sentiment is from Best Year, and is punched out with the Timeless Label Punch. I punched a 2 more labels in Seaside Spray and cut them into quarters to add behind the stamped piece. Then I popped it up on Dimensionals.
This card is very similar, but I used Seaside Spray for the embossed panel, and added the coordinating ½” Scalloped Linen Ribbon at the seam where the papers meet up. The sentiment was cut with a label die from Timeless Labels, and mounted on another one from Stitched So Sweetly.
I love this DSP with the photos, it’s so pretty. I’m glad they brought it back this year for another season…get yours while it’s still around! Here’s a list of everything I used to make these cards.
