This week I’m sharing the cards we made in my April Monthly Medley Class. Each month I feature a variety of products and techniques using great Stampin’ Up! products and I’m always happy to have newcomers join us! All the details can be found on my Classes and Events page.

This card features the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate. Two of the the three sheets of the acetate’s designs are meant to coordinate with the painted images on the Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Putting the two sheets together and cutting on the paper trimmer is a cinch, and voilà, a beautiful card layer. On these cards we added the Fine Art Ribbon and a gold-embossed sentiment, which gave us places to hide Tear & Tape to adhere the acetate to the DSP.

It is very difficult to get good pictures of the acetate without a lot of glare, but these are beautiful cards in person.
I’ll be showing some cards I’ve made using the other coordinating sheets of DSP and acetate later in the week on my other communication channels – be sure you’ve subscribed to my email list and my Facebook Group!
The DSP and acetate are still in stock as of this writing, but are only available while supplies last as they are retiring on 3 May. Here’s what I used to make these cards – clicking on any photo will take you to my online store.
