I just kept on having fun with the Fine Art Floral Suite after my Facebook Live video last week. Here’s a card I CASE’d from Susie Wood. CASE stands for Copy And Selectively Edit, which is what I did on this card. I keep the black, white and purple colour scheme and Dutch Door layout, but changed up some of the details.
Check out that black-and-purple Designer Series Paper! It’s a piece of the True Love black-and-white DSP that I coloured in with my Highland Heather Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker.
The flower is one of the 2-step stamping blooms in the Art Gallery stamp set, and I stamped both layers in full-strength Highland Heather ink. You might just be able to see some white speckles on the darker ink…that’s the glimmer of the Wink of Stella I added to those portions of the petals!
I embossed a panel of Highland Heather just over halfway, leaving the bottom portion un-embossed. It made it easy to add a rectangle of Basic White cardstock to write on, but keep it hidden when the card is closed.
While I do love all the elements of the Fine Art Floral Suite, it is fun to break out from the colours and elements of the suite and play with alternative applications. Here’s the list of products I used…you can click on any image or the Add All To Card button to shop my online store.
