Last week I showed you my first card made with the Heart & Home suite of products. This is another one:
Instead of using my Stampin’ Blends to colour this image, I pulled out my Water Painter and tried to do some actual watercolouring!
I stamped on Shimmery White cardstock with StazOn Jet Black ink. The Shimmery White not only has fun, fine glitter embedded, it can take more water than our Basic White can, so it works well for watercolouring.
My watercolouring technique needs a lot of work, but I’m pleased where it wound up in the end. I added a rhinestone to every flower centre, which makes a nice, sparkly contrast to the more rustic, country feel of the plank DSP and gingham ribbon.
