Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest on Linen

These are the cards I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. You can watch it on replay on Facebook or YouTube. I go live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Page every Wednesday at 10:00 AET. You can check to see what time that is where you are at this website.

This was the first time I’ve played with the Nature’s Harvest stamp set and the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). I also remembered I had purchased the new Linen 12 x 12 sheets a few months ago, and decided to stamp on those.

I stamped the flowers on the Bumblebee card in StazOn Saddle Brown Ink, because I wasn’t sure if I would want to use a Water Painter or Blender Pen on it, and didn’t want the ink to bleed if I did. The Crumb Cake card is stamped with our regular ink (Sahara Sand for the background images and Soft Suede for the coneflowers).

Working on the Linen with the coloured pencils was a lot of fun. I like the soft, antique look I achieved, and was pleasantly surprised at how easy the linen was to work with. It cuts like a dream with both my paper trimmer and the die I used, and the backing came off easily.

Here’s what I used to make these…you can get your own in my Online Store.
