Stampin’ Up! Pansy Pinwheel Tower Card

This week I received an order from Stampin’ Up! that contained the Pansy Petals Suite. I’ve loved this since the Annual Catalogue debuted, but I decided to hold off on purchasing it until it was seasonally appropriate here.

I jumped right in and started playing, choosing to decorate the cut and assembled Pinwheel Tower card I had on my craft desk from the other week’s Facebook Live and post.

After covering the pinwheel’s panels with some of the yummy DSP, I used 4 of the colours featured in it to colour the large stamp from Happiest of Birthdays. Note: to do this be sure you’re using Stampin’ Write Markers, which are water-based, rather than the Stampin’ Blends that are alcohol ink markers.

Then I cut 4 pansies with the Pansy Dies. I definitely advise adding Adhesive Sheets to the back of the cardstock used for the edge detail dies.

I left a panel blank to write a message on…though one could layer some DSP and another white rectangle, too. Hmmm – may go back and add that!

And here are the other 2 pansies. It’s really a quite simple card that packs a huge punch!
