JOY TO THE WORLD PAPER PUMPKIN KIT
This week I’m featuring some of the alternative projects I made with the Paper Pumpkin Joy To The World kit. Last Friday I showed you how Stampin’ Up! designed the kit to be used. One of my favourite things to do is “slice and dice” the kit to use it in different ways and get more from it. Here are a few I created:
This card uses the variegated Crumb Cake back panel of one of the kit’s cards for the large layer. I took the flower stamp that comes with the kit and stamped it. a few times in Crumb Cake. Then I opened up one of the kit’s envelopes and cut down the main part of the printed “liner” to make the smaller layer. I stamped the 2 sentiments on the kit’s label piece in Just Jade and Crumb Cake. After cutting the die cut flower in two I attached the pieces to the top and bottom edges of the sentiment before popping up the whole thing on Dimensionals. Gold Glitter Enamel Dots finish it off.
This one is similar, but I used the kit’s card front (did you notice that they are A6 size, instead of North American size?) with its fun gold foil “stitching” pattern with the other half of the envelope paper. This one uses 2 of the kit’s flowers, but I used my own Whisper White sentiment banner, along with more Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
This version makes use of the printed portion of the flap of the envelope. I also stamped the wreath from the kit’s stamp set and fussy cut it, along with the sentiments.
Tomorrow and Wednesday I will share the rest of my alternative projects. Below is a list of items I used to create all my alternatives so you can add them to your Wishlist for the Online Extravaganza tomorrow!
