This card came from a mash-up of items on my crafting desk. I had been working on some projects featuring the Tidings of Christmas Suite for my next Product Playground class series starting in September, when I got distracted by a card idea for a kit-based Monthly Medley class, which, given all the lockdowns we’ve been having, I’m likely going to have to offer instead of an in-person class. I spotted a leftover piece of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper next to my Christmas Trimmings Dies, and an idea was born.
This piece only had a small part of the rainbow spectrum of colours on this glimmer paper, but it’s a pretty cool ombré of pinks.
The two open stars and the smallest star are part of the Christmas Trimmings die set. The larger solid star is from a long-retired set I found hiding in my die crate.
I love the generous scattering of Polished Pink rhinestones I added at the end. This card just makes my heart happy.
