In my Facebook Live video last week I showed how to use a folded piece of cardstock to make a stencil to stamp or blend in through. Once finished, I cut off the stencil layer, and was musing about tossing it away, when someone suggested a way to re-use it in the comments. Here’s what I did:
Since the stencil was cut on a quarter-sheet of cardstock I had plenty of room to align the largest of the Scalloped Contours Dies and cut it out. Then I ran it through the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
I stamped the image from the coordinating Color & Contour stamp set on a separate piece of Basic White, and layered the frame over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I adhered it to a Bumblebee card base and added a retired Ladybug Trinket and a Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon bow. You’d never guess that the flip side of that frame is covered in random stamping in a totally different colour palette!
