This is the last of the cards I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. I showed you the first two here, and the next one here. You can watch the video replay on Facebook or YouTube. On this card I used the sticks of pastels directly on the paper, applying horizontal streaks of colour that I then blended with a brush. One could also use a sponge dauber.
I think I need to practice this technique a bit more…I’d like to get a more blended look between the colours.
I then adhered some silhouette die-cuts from the Meadow Dies. Usually I would cut these in Basic Black, but I wanted to show a bit more colour and light.
I think this card needs something else to finish it off…perhaps a sentiment? I’ll take any suggestions you have in the comments!
