The first thing I did on this video was apply the chalk dust scraped from the pastel sticks to Basic White cardstock that I had embossed with a couple of embossing folders. This first one is just chalk powder.
On this green and yellow one, once I’d applied a layer of colour to everything, I lightly rubbed a Versamark ink pad over the raised edges of the embossing, then added more chalk. The Versamark allowed more chalk powder to cling, intensifying the colour.

I really wish my camera had been able to capture the sparkle in the ribbons of both cards, plus the rhinestones in the green-and-yellow one.
