I saw this technique on a card made by Sally Bowman.  In a nutshell, I stamped the line art images in Stazon ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, then used a variety of the SU! Watercolor Pencils to trace around the black lines.  Then I used a spray bottle/spritzer to spray water on the images, and set them aside to allow the colours to bleed.  In the video I dried the paper with my Heat Tool, which worked well.

I really like the very subtle colour bleed that happens with this technique.  It’s perfectly fine that the colour goes outside the lines…it adds depth and dimension to the image with no effort!

I’ve listed the supplies I used if you’d like to give this a try.  I bet you’ve got a line art image in your stash you can use!
