Last weekend I held my first ever Stamp Camp, a 2-day event full of projects that featured the Texture Chic Suite. This is the “showstopper” project from the event:

This is a desktop stationary bureau that was designed by U.K. demonstrator Liz Shannon.

Inside it holds six full-sized cards and envelopes, and six 3″ x 3″ gift enclosure cards and envelopes. We also made a variety of tags and included half a sheet of Mini Dimensionals for the recipient to adhere them as desired to the card fronts. For an extra bit of fun we added some of the same DSP as was used on the bureau to a clear-barrelled pen.

If you look closely you’ll see several people designed their own closure/clasp. I made a very traditional keyhole-style one, with the Medium Daisy Punch serving as the keyhole, but I really like the ones that use the die-cut images from the Chic dies.

Participants had the option to work on the various event projects or their own projects throughout the weekend…you can see that one person chose to make her bureau’s cards at home.
This is another project that can be made with any DSP and colour scheme (though I do recommend using a non-directional pattern!). You can see the one I made as a prototype over on my Nancy’s Nifty Notemakers Facebook Group.
Here are the supplies used for this project – clicking on a picture will take you to that product’s page in my Online Store.
