Today is Father’s Day in the United States, so I’m sharing the card I made for my dad.
He’s active in several folk/labor song groups, so I looked for a way to incorporate his love of music into the card.
Though the design is quite simple, it has many layers, which adds a lot of depth.
The Merry Melody 3D embossed panel has ink added with a blending brush to make the embossing pop.
And I added a couple of the argyle die cuts from the All That Dies to the inside along with the sentiment.
This design could easily be made as a birthday card, or for any occasion. Here’s what I used:
