We explored 4 methods for getting ink onto a piece of Window Sheet/acetate and then onto different kinds of paper. The different methods result in different outcomes in the finished product. Over the next few days I’ll show you some of the results I got, including how I used some of them on cards.
I also had started out by masking the edges of the Watercolor Paper with Post-It Notes, so that once I was finished I had a fairly well-defined border. Once it had dried I decided that the bright colors just needed Basic Black to play off of, so I stamped the sentiment from Butterfly Basics in Archival Basic Black ink, added a butterfly cut with one of the coordinating Framelits, and mounted it on a Basic Black card base. The whole thing kind of reminds me of Eric Carle’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, one of my kids’ favorites!
