Way To Goat and Happiest Of Birthdays

I took advantage of the 24-hour stamp sale a week ago to snap up 2 sets that have been on my wishlist since the current Annual Catalogue debuted, Way To Goat and Happiest Of Birthdays.  I had to get them inky before putting them on my stamp shelf!

This layout is CASE’d from Tricia Smith.  I think this is a very fun card, but I don’t know exactly who I’d send it to, LOL!

Here’s a card that came out exactly as I envisioned it when I ordered the set!  It’s so easy to make multi-coloured images if you own the Stampin’ Write Markers.  Once I’d coloured each line, I huffed my breath on the stamp to re-moisten the first-inked parts, then stamped.

On this card I used the Stitched Triangles Dies to cut some Flowers for Every Season DSP for the corners, and inked up another of the Happiest of Birthdays sentiment to go in the centre.  There was a bit of back-and-forth on the video about what colour base to use.  In the end I went with what the viewers were calling for.  I may do another with the Magenta Madness I was leaning towards…it’s such a simple layout it’s easy to make many.

​I will be crafting cards from the Global Paper Pumpkin Kit: Box of Sunshine, and welcome everyone to come play along.  If you don’t have one of these kits to use,  just make some cards using your own stash. Then we will prepare our cards to send out to some friends and family who could use a little bit of sunshine!
