I’m in Wellington, New Zealand! I’ll be sightseeing with my husband for a few days, then moving on to Auckland for more touring before attending Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage Live convention. I’ll post my sightseeing highlights on my personal Facebook page, and there will be updates from OnStage Live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook page…hope you’ll follow along!
I’ve seen many versions of this card on Pinterest and had to try one for myself:
The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper does all the heavy lifting on this card! Such great, photorealistic images that are so warm. The Tailored Tag punch makes quick work of cutting all the pieces, and then it’s just a matter of arranging them in a pleasing pattern. I glued them to a layer of Early Espresso so that it was easy to trim off the overhanging DSP, then added the Braided Linen Trim and glued that layer to the Early Espresso card base. I used the birthday sentiment from Lemon Zest, but you can use anything you have that fits the tag.
I was so excited when this DSP pack was carried over from the 2017-18 Annual Catalogue to this year’s edition, which is a rare occurrence. It’s so nice to add warmth and a natural touch to so many cards. I’m willing to bet it will retire with the end of this Annual Catalogue in early June, so don’t miss a chance to add it to your stash!
