Today is the LAST CHANCE for Sale-A-Bration!
This is the final card from my March Monthly Card Class. I made one of these last month at Nickie’s card class when I was in Arizona…boy, does that seem like a lifetime ago! As soon as I saw it I knew we had to make one in my class, too.
Nickie told me she got the layout from BJ Peters, but substituted her cardstock poppy for one made with coloured vellum. To make the coloured vellum we smooshed ink pads onto the vellum, then spritzed with water and tipped & turned the vellum until we had colour everywhere. We did this a couple of days before the class met so that it was fully dry. You can see that we made some with Poppy Parade and Lovely Lipstick ink for the flowers, and some with Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.
We used the Stamparatus to get perfect placement of the sentiment and small poppies on the inside panel. Light and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends made it easy to colour the blossoms.
So much fun colour and dimension! Thanks, Nickie!
